Most of what I used to be has vanished in the waves

Heya!

So, as I already said, World Goth Fair started. There is PLENTY of neat stuff to choose from. Two of my favourite pieces are the little bolero offered back at the FF already and now again Lassitude & Ennui and these awesome dresses by Bilo called Salome. They come in a wide array of colours many of those more than perfectly fitting for role-play, also for Gor.

Another creator who has a stall at the World Goth Fair, but isn’t yet featured in this post, is Senzafine. Check them out! Their stuff is nice, especially the stuff they have at their mainstore for the not so gothly people. Don’t forget to check out The Muses‘ stall either! Very pretty dress to get there.

Mesh and system layers??

Many people loathe system layers ever since mesh was introduced. I think that is pretty damned naive tbh. They are -awesome- still for layering and for creating unique outfits. One of my largest petpeeves with mesh dresses is the fact that it is incredibly hard to mix and match them with just about everything else. I already blogged about House of Fox’ awesome meshdress, and now Bilo did the same!! I LOVE it! The skirt is mesh, combined with a system layer. Perfect in size and you can combine it like crazy! I really hope more creators will start doing this.

Jewelry and Hair!

Bliensen & Maitai is a store that completely fell off my radar for reasons I cannot quite fathom. They got super creative (mesh-) jewelry and accessories. Pretty sure I will shop there some more and we also got the creator, Plurabelle, in for the We Love Role-Play Event. I really like this necklace a lot. And Eaters Coma…..yay! Finally I can tint the hair. My biggest beef with them was always that their red tones are everything…but not red. Not even ginger. Just a very odd tone. But now I am happy and this new hair is pretty!

Fantasy Faire 2013 is coming!!! :)

Heya!!

The Fantasy Faire 2013 opens tomorrow at 6 am SLT and will be open until the 28th and each store has at least a couple of items for 100% donation to RFL (thank you, Anke!!). The sims really look goddamned awesome…some more than others. I am particularly in love with Crimson Fields and Lumenaria. I really hope that Kayle Matzerath will sell those houses after the Faire. I’ll definitely storm his shop and buy those. I found a LOT of good items at the Faire and I have been especially pleased to see really nice outfits for guys made by FATEWear at the sim called Titans Hollow. Check those out. Really, go visit, it is worth it for both chicks and guys!

I have one suggestion: Dear creators, stop calling flimsy silks ‘armor’. Armor is there to protect, not to make you look like a courtesan.

I don’t know what you are looking for

I haven’t been super-inspired lately. For some reason I get the feeling that more and more of SL fashion is being overwhelmed with allllll the same stuff all over the place. I am not sure if I can only blame the templates, or generally US, the users, too. There are however a few notable exceptions.

Also, I switched back to my Orchid skin for good now, mixing it with a soft, naural lipstick from MOCK. I never liked the dry looking lips on Orchid at all, but the overall skin is just so nice and I got tired of my League skin (despite it being pretty!) for now. What do you think? :O Thoughts? I am still waiting for Laqroki’s new line…grrr!

New Store for Role-Play Gear!! – INNOCUOUS

Hellos peeps!

I have some AWESOME news for you: A friend of mine has opened a new store geared towards role-players. Usually involved with making awesome, highquality stuff for the casual SL ‘fashionindustry’ she now makes stuff for US! WOOOHOO! And I tell you, the stuff is impeccable: Awesome, unique and high quality mesh items with unique textures. Everything is selfmade, too. No templates. You won’t see every dummy and their grandma wearing this stuff. I am in love with these things, she constantly showed me the process on the items and I couldn’t wait for them to be released.

You guys know me, I’d not blog this if I wasn’t convinced it is pretty awesome. So I am happy to introduce:

Innocuous will bring you versatile, combineable and high quality clothing and accessories to make your role-play-life a little bit more perfect.
